Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using this website or engaging in any services provided by RusnÄ— KuliešiÅ«tÄ— ("Behavioural Sleep Specialist"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use this website or services.

 

Nature of Services

The services provided are educational, behavioural, and coaching-based in nature, with a specific focus on sleep improvement and insomnia support. Services are not medical care, psychotherapy, psychological counselling, or psychiatric treatment.

While I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and am certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), I am not a licensed clinical psychologist, physician, or medical provider. Services do not include diagnosis, medical treatment, or crisis intervention.

 

Eligibility

Services are appropriate for individuals who:

  • Are experiencing chronic insomnia or general sleep difficulties lasting 3 months or more.

  • Are able to participate actively in behavioural and cognitive-based work.

  • Are not currently in acute psychological or medical crisis.

  • Are not experiencing severe clinical conditions that require medical or psychiatric care.

 

I do not work with individuals who are experiencing:

  • Acute psychological crisis

  • Severe depression, trauma, or active psychosis

  • Severe clinical anxiety

  • Sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnoea, restless leg syndrome, or other medical sleep conditions

  • Complex medical conditions requiring specialist care

  • Diagnosed bipolar disorder

  • Epilepsy or seizure disorders

 

If you are unsure whether these services are appropriate for you, please consult your healthcare provider before engaging.

 

Not a Substitute for Medical Advice

All content and services provided are for informational, educational, and behavioural coaching purposes only. They do not replace care, advice, or treatment from licensed medical, psychological, or psychiatric providers.

 

Any decisions regarding healthcare, medications, or treatment remain the full responsibility of the client and their licensed healthcare team.

 

International Clients

Services are offered internationally via online video consultations. Clients are responsible for understanding whether these services are legally permitted in their country, state, or jurisdiction.

 

Session Structure and Timing

Each session is scheduled for up to 50 minutes. Clients are not required to remain for the full session length if both client and provider agree that the session content has been adequately covered in a shorter timeframe.

If a client arrives late to a session without prior notice, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time and the full session fee applies. If no contact is received within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session is considered missed and is charged in full.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • 24-hour notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.

  • Exceptions may be made in cases of true emergency at the discretion of the provider.

 

Confidentiality

Client information is treated with respect and privacy. As this is not a licensed healthcare service, legal confidentiality protections such as doctor-patient privilege do not apply.

All reasonable steps will be taken to protect client privacy and data, except in circumstances where disclosure is required by law (e.g., threat of harm to self or others, abuse, legal subpoena).

 

Technology Disclaimer

While reasonable efforts are made to provide secure online consultations, clients acknowledge that no online platform can guarantee absolute privacy, security, or stability. Clients accept these risks when engaging in online sessions.

 

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, downloads, and educational materials, is the property of RusnÄ— KuliešiÅ«tÄ— unless otherwise stated. This content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

 

Any unauthorised use of this content may result in legal action.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RusnÄ— KuliešiÅ«tÄ— shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or services.

 

Modifications to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated periodically. Continued use of this website or services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.

 

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by applicable laws of the provider's location and apply to international clients regardless of jurisdiction.
